Course Description

This course takes you from never opening Blender to creating animated 3D characters, using the free Blender software. It is built for aspiring game developers, animation students, and creative professionals who want to add 3D to their skill set.

You will start with Blender's interface and navigation, then work through five animation projects that grow in complexity. Each project builds on the last, covering modeling, texturing, rigging, materials, shape keys, particle systems, lighting, sound, and advanced animation techniques. By the end, you will have a portfolio of animations including talking characters, full human characters, and dynamic scenes. The course includes video tutorials, downloadable project files, and techniques used by working animators.
